yearONE, LLC is a radar sensor R&D startup company that is a spin-off from a Texas Tech University faculty’s research. yearONE officially incorporated in 2014 and has been through multiple steps of the Innovation Hub ecosystem. To date, yearONE has raised over $325,000 in seed funding, has over $1,050,000 in pending grant funding, and is preparing to raise its Series A. yearONE has successfully completed a NSF National I-Corps program, Phase-I NSF STTR award, and is preparing to submit their Phase-II NSF STTR in the summer of 2017. In addition, yearONE has executed 2 fully exclusive patents from TTU and has several others underway.
